Kazungula’s Snake Park is run by CARAKAL, an NGO, and is a community based project that runs educational programmes for Batswanan children. It is also part of a training programme to involve Batswana in the tourism industry. The park is home to about 50 snakes (17 species) ranging from the harmless Brown House Snake to the deadly Boomslang and Black Mamba. It is set in an attractive garden, making for a great morning or afternoon activity.
