The Sibuyu Forest was once home to the resourceful San hunters and gathers who took advantages of its abundance in game, water, wild fruits and vegetables. Today only traces of human existence and pre-historic activity can be found at the Nunga ruins. The area is great for camping and walking safaris, especially around the pans.
